MILAN JOKSOVIĆ

Founder of Joksović, Stojanović & Partners Law Office and Senior Partner with over 30 years of practice, specializes in the field of corporate and commercial law, but also covers fields of contract law, banking and investment law, insurance law, transportation law and arbitration. He has extensive experience with regard to foreign investments in Serbia and Montenegro, including setting up of business of multinational companies, investments in domestic enterprises, joint-venture agreements, and a wide range of commercial contract issues.

Mr. Joksović was from the very beginning of his career involved in large scale transactions in Serbia and Montenegro, and leads a team of experienced attorneys in providing full legal service to many leading international companies.

He is also an arbitrator at the Foreign Trade Court of Arbitration within the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Joksović is a Court Interpreter for German language and has been counsel of choice of the German, Austrian and Swiss embassies in Belgrade. He has regular cooperation with many other Embassies and Chambers of Commerce.

Milan Joksović completed his postgraduate studies law in Munich, Germany at Ludwig – Maximilians – University (LMU).

PETAR STOJANOVIĆ

Mr. Stojanović was involved in numerous privatization and large-scale investment transactions in Serbia and Montenegro in the field of energy and mining, telecommunications, automotive industry, tourism, infrastructure development, chemical industry, tobacco, etc. Aside from representing foreign investors, he has also advised governments, privatization and other state agencies and public companies.

Fields of specialization also include the following areas: capital markets, telecommunications, real estate, energy law, international arbitration, where he acted as both counsel and arbitrator before international arbitrations.

DRAGAN PSODOROV

Senior Partner with 15 years of practice specializes in the field of corporate and commercial law, with the emphasizes on private international law, pharmaceutical law, IP law, competition law and dispute resolution, including arbitration.

Mr. Psodorov acted as legal counsel in many arbitration proceedings in Serbia and abroad, under ICC Rules, UNCITRAL, CAS, Permanent Arbitration of the Serbian Chamber of Trade and Commerce. He regularly advises construction companies in DAB proceedings under FIDIC contracts.

Mr. Psodorov is also recognized as arbitrator in the domestic and international arbitrations, and is on the list of several arbitration institutions, including: Permanent Arbitration of the Serbian Chamber of Trade and Commerce, Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), European Centre for Dispute Resolution, Slovenia and Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). ALEX PETROVIĆ

Senior Partner with 20 years of international experience in the IT industry specializes in information technology law and in particular contracts for development, licensing and maintenance of software, protection of digital intellectual property, cyber security, digital data protection, e-business and e-government. His international experience includes leadership in projects ranging from electronic incorporation of companies in Canada, re-use of digital public sector information in the European Union (Slovenia) to modernization of e-business and e-government legal frameworks in Serbia.

Mr. Petrović was educated in law in England and in applied information technology in Canada.

His clients come from different sections of the IT industry and are involved in a wide range of businesses such as development of software, outsourcing, video gaming, internet gambling, e-banking, e-money, virtual currencies, information security, e-commerce.

He regularly speaks at various international conferences, appears in the leading media and is a guest lecturer at private and public universities.

Partner with 25 years of practice specializes in the field of litigation and criminal law in Serbia and Montenegro. His extensive experience in the field of litigation ranges from his practice in the Third Municipality Court to his current engagement in significant commercial litigation procedures led by JSP. He is well-versed in litigation before courts in commercial disputes, insurance law and real estate.

ANA TOMIĆ

Partner with more than 10 years of practice specializes in the field of foreign direct investments, real estate and project finance law, as well as contract law.

Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Tomić has been working in international law firms. She started her career in 2004 at Hayhurst Robinson in Belgrade, and since 2006 she was in the team engaged as Belgrade desk of CMS Cameron McKenna at CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hasche Sigle in Belgrade, where she had a chance to cooperate with both international and local legal experts and by being a part of the teams acting as local counsels for many international clients, she was involved in major transactions in the then emerging Serbian market.

Besides an extensive general knowledge of commercial and corporate law, Ms. Tomić has a particularly strong background in real estate and project finance law, contract law and competition law.

MILICA VESIĆ

Partner with 15 years of experience, specializes in the field of employment and labor law. She has extensive experience in providing legal advice on employment and immigration issues to multinational companies and numerous local and regional companies, as well as diplomatic missions. She covers the jurisdictions of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Her work includes preparation of all employment related documents and counseling on all labor issues, including collective bargaining with trade unions, preparation of employment and management contracts, general enactments and other employment related documents, labor issues arising in connections with privatization and mergers and acquisition, research and drafting of due diligence reports, assistance in connection with residence and work permits for foreign employees, assistance in labor disputes, redundancy proceedings, termination of employment, outsourcing, advice on sick leaves, injuries at work, tax treatment of specific benefits and all other employment and labor related issues. Ms. Vesić is a team member in charge of employment and labor law in projects in the field of privatization and restructuring, M&A and joint ventures.

VLADIMIR KRNETIĆ

Partner with over 15 years of professional experience who specializes in the field of corporate and commercial law, banking, real estate, energy law, international private law, and arbitration.

Mr. Krnetić is an experienced corporate lawyer advising clients in various business transactions (including cross border transactions and joint ventures), and his practice includes negotiation of acquisitions, private equity deals and joint ventures in emerging markets. Also, he advises a number of clients on day-to-day corporate, commercial, civil, real estate, and banking law issues.

Mr. Krnetić was involved in due diligence reviews and in advising the Privatization Agency of the Republic of Serbia and its financial advisors on a number of tender privatization projects. Also notable is his engagement in a number of high value real estate transactions in Montenegro.

DEJAN ĆULAFIĆ

Partner, began his professional career as a legal representative of the airline company Jat Airways (ex flag carrier of the Republic of Serbia), where he represented the company before the courts in Serbia and Montenegro in various types of disputes (litigations and arbitrations). He continued his career in the aviation industry as head of the legal department at Jat Tehnika – company for maintenance and repair of aircraft, where he was involved in very complex legal matters.

He gained broad experience in drafting, negotiating and concluding various types of contracts with airlines, aviation insurers and reinsurers on the London insurance market, airports, handling agents, banks and world best known aircraft manufacturers.

His experience in aviation law recommended him to be chosen as a member of the state Committee for drafting of the Civil Aviation Act of the Republic of Serbia. During his career in aviation industry he attended many courses and seminars with respect to aviation insurance in London.

Mr. Ćulafić has also extensive experience in representing companies before courts and arbitrations in very complex and high value disputes, and is recognized in handling insurance claims, indemnity and product liability disputes.

He is a member of the Belgrade Arbitration Centre and recognized by the legal 500 in Serbia.

Goran Vucic

GORAN VUČIĆ

Partner, joined Joksovic, Stojanovic & Partners in 2013. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure related projects, corporate restructurings, public procurement and foreign investment transactions.

As part of the JSP M&A team, he was included in the most significant projects on the Serbian market in recent years, particularly in telecom, energy and food production industries. Mr. Vučić also covers competition law issues related with transactional work as well as day to day advisory work with respect to various commercial agreements.

He is a member of JSP Montenegrin desk led by Senior Partner Petar Stojanović, where he advises clients on real estate development projects and represents clients before competent courts and administrative bodies in disputes related with investment projects.

He is listed among next generation lawyers on the Serbian legal market by the Legal 500 and since 2017 Mr. Vučić is a contributor to the World Bank – Doing Business project.
